‘Arrythmia.’ The Vancouver-based ambient composer Loscil is out with a new record that captures the anxiety that comes with fire season in his part of the world. Lake Fire is the name of the album; it’s also the name of at least three wildfires in western North America in recent years—one of which burned more than 38,000 acres in Santa Barbara County, California, when he was recording last year.
