‘Yowzers.’ This majestic piano-and-vocals track is a blues for climate change from Ben LaMar Gay, the Chicago-based cornetist and composer: “Ain’t gon’ snow no more / Rain gon’ pour and pour / Fire don’t stop no more.” The jazz flourishes here build to a sense of cataclysm.
